Friday, September 19th
Golf Event
Location & Time: TBA
Steve Roper is putting this together. We need to set up in teams of four. You can go ahead and estimate approximately $40.00 per person for this event. Steve indicated that Tee time would be late morning. More information is to follow.
Football Game
Location: GCHS Football Field
Time: TBA
Cost: Adult - $6.00, Children under 6-years-old - Free
We need some former cheerleaders and pep-squad members to help with a project for this night. Also, since it is Homecoming, we would like for our Homecoming Queens from the Class of 1982, 1983 and 1984 to step forward. Please contact Tina Browder Johnston for more information.
We are locating a local night spot in Goose Creek where those who would like to gather together after the game, can go and socialize and maybe even do some Karaoke, like we did at the last reunion. Everyone loves Karaoke!
Saturday, September 20th
Charleston Marriott

Cost: $50.00 per person
*Dressing Attire: Dressy/Casual - Come in whatever you feel comfortable!
Rooms will be blocked off for our group. Each room has two double beds and you can have as many people in a room as you would like. The cost per room is $179.99 and a 15%discount will be given, if the room is booked under the reunion name. Room reservations are to be made through me. The approximate start time is 6:00 p.m. We will be serving heavy hors d'oeuvres and there will be a cash bar.
We will have a DJ for our entertainment, for the evening. Also available, will be a photographer, who will take a photo of the entire group and then he will take a comical photo of the group. He will also be available to take couple pictures and "group" pictures. If you had a small group of friends that you always hung out with, you can all get together for a group picture.
Sunday, September 21st
Family Picnic
Location: Wannamaker Park
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Cost: Adult - $18.00
Child - 13 - Adult - $18.00
Child - 12 and under - $5.00
There will be lots of activities for the children and the adults. We purchased an alcohol permit, for those of you who wish to bring a cooler. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, whatever you want to sit on outside.
We will have a photographer available for 1-2 hours. During this time, he will take a few group photos of the alumni. In addition, he can take family group photos and friend photos. These photos will be available on the same day for purchase. However, if you choose not purchase at that time and you change your mind later, you will be able tpurchasese them.
LOCATING MISSING ALUMNI AND ALUMNI FROM 1982 AND 1984
Our time is really running out folks. If you know of any former classmates from the class of 1983, 1982 or 1984, please, please, please pass this information along to them. If you see them in the grocery store, at Wal-Mart, at work, anywhere, please spread the word. This is a joint Class Reunion and we want it to be the best that we know it can be. We are really going to have a blast! Please help us get the word out there!
If you live locally, I have had business cards printed up to pass out, when I come across someone from high school. If you would like some of those cards, give me a call at 843-303-2581 or send me an e-mail and I will bring them to you. For those of you out of the area, if you would like some, let me know and I will mail them to you.
