Welcome to GCHS "Class of 1982, 1983, 1984

Plans are in the works for upcoming reunion events. We are planning a cruise in 2012, beach house luau in 2013 and a "Back to the 80's" Harbor Cruise.

Carnival

The results are back and we have chosen a reputable travel agency to help us with GCHS Reunion 2012 Cruise.

The cruise will be on Wed, June 13, 2012 to Mon, June 18, 2012 and Mike Bogart from Cruise Planners will be coordinating and planning needed for the cruise. If we have classmates from out of town, he can help with hotel arrangements as well. He can get discounted hotels through Carnival for those that want to arrive in Charleston early or stay later after the cruise.

If you have Special Needs (handicap room), Dietary Needs (lactose intolerant, allergic to shellfish, gluten free foods, etc) or Medical Needs (diabetic that needs a disposal container for insulin needles), please let Mike Bogart know.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION TERMS

DEPOSITS:
The below deposit amounts and due dates are required by Carnival Cruise Lines. However, in our experience, increasing the deposit to $50 or $100 per person helps hold the inventory longer. Carnival reserves the right to recall cabins that do not meet the deposit deadline. Cabins can be added at any time, but at the rate the day they are added. Cabins accommodating more than 2 in a cabin require a full $200 per person deposit.

We also recommend moving the due dates forward at least 2 weeks prior to the date required by the cruise line. People will pay on the very last date they can. This may cause problems if they pay by cash or check and the money needs to be at Carnival on the cruise line due date.

$25.00 per person due no later than December 26, 2011 (Reserves Cabin Category)
$150.00 per person second deposit due no later than February 14, 2012 (Cabin Assignment)
Final payment due no later than April 14, 2012

CANCELLATION PENALTY SCHEDULE:
Up To 61 Days Prior To Departure - Full Refund
60 - 46 Days Prior To Departure – Full Deposit Of $200.00 Per Person
45 - 30 Days Prior To Departure – Full Deposit or 50% of Total Fare, Whichever Is Greater
29 - 15 Days Prior To Departure - 75% of Total Fare

Testimonials From Satisfied Group Leaders
"I was introduced to Mike & Diana Bogart of “Cruise Planner” when I was at a point in losing all confidence in cruises because of some very unprofessional consultants that I had encountered during my early years of cruising. My group “The Walcott Family & Friends” started cruising in 2001 and I changed consultants on a yearly basis until I was introduced to the Cruise Planners group of Mike and Diana.

I know that I can be very demanding at times, but believe that the mark of a Professional Cruise Planner is the ability to communicate value relative to what is important to the prospective customer and to assure them that they are working on their behalf to help them to obtain the best deal possible. For the past several years now I have been working personally with Diana but had the opportunity to also interact with Mike on several occasions. Now when I think of cruising, the first persons that come to mind are Diana and Mike Bogart. I have since recommended several persons, groups and newlyweds. With Diana you don’t just get someone who’s is knowledgeable about the industry but you get someone who is a good communicator and whose professionalism is exemplary and excels even more when it comes to her human relations skills. She takes the time to know you, not just as a customer, but as a person. Your cares, concerns and anxieties becomes hers and then she works her amazing magic to alleviate, dispel and relieve them.

Diana has requested that I provide them with a testimonial and my response is evidenced herein. I should emphasize my awareness of my responsibility to any potential customer. I know that Mike and Diana will serve you with utmost dedication and efficiency and therefore would not hesitate to sum them up as “Five Star “quality and in a class by themselves."
Cheryl, Brooklyn, NY

I would like to say Thank You to Cruise Planners for all that you do. I have been a customer of Cruise planners for 9 years, and once I let Mike and Diana know where my family and I want to go they find us the best cruise to take. Mike and Diana at Cruise Planners are like family. This will be the 10th year we are working with them, and now we are headed to the Southern Caribbean for a Thanksgiving 2012 Family Reunion cruise. Thanks Cruise Planners for all you do.
Ronald & Zavieria, North Charleston, SC

Cruise Planners did a great job planning our cruise. We were a group of 22 and we all had a terrific time! Thanks to Mike & Diana for the wonderful gifts in our staterooms!

Mike & Diana Bogart of Cruise Planners are very professional and reliable travel agents. We were extremely well satisfied in the total service we received in the planning and execution of our cruise. We appreciated the availability of Mike and Diana on answering their phone or call back promptly when we made calls to them before the cruise.
