ATTENTION GCHS CLASSES OF 1982, 1983 AND 1984!!!!!

The Reunion Committee met on Saturday, May 3rd. After reviewing our options for our joint Class Reunion, a decision was made. We have decided to make an offer to Edwin McCain's management, about having him as our entertainment on Saturday, September 20th at the Windjammer. All were in agreement that before we would make an offer, we need to have the money in hand, so that once the offer is made, should they accept our offer, we would be able to make the 50% deposit payment, which they would require, within 7-10 business days.

Therefore, Angie (Keene) Nix is setting up a Pay Pal Account, so that people can make their payment and it be received immediately, without our having to wait on the mail delivery and for checks to clear the bank. We will have Tom Brawley post the Pay Pal link on the class website, so that each of you can make your payment directly there. The class web-site address is www.gchs1983.com.

The cost of the reunion for the entire weekend will be $75.00 per person, with a $25.00 non-refundable deposit for each alumni. In order for us to make an offer to Edwin McCain's management, we are asking that we receive each alumni's reunion fee of $75.00 by Friday, May 23rd. Below is the proposed breakdown:

Meet & Greet - Goose Creek High School Football Field
6:00pm - til
Football Game - $6.00 - Adult
Children under 6 are free

Saturday, September 20th
Reunion Event
7:30pm - 2:00am - Windjammer - $50.00
Music, Heavy Hors d'oeuvres, Cash Bar
Special Guest - Edwin McCain - For Appx. 2 hours

Sunday, September 21st
Family Picnic - Goose Creek High School, Football Field
12:00pm - 4:00pm - $18.00 - Alumni
$18.00 - Guest
$5.00 - Children under 12

In the event that we are unable to secure Edwin McCain as our guest entertainment, we will move on to Plan B. If there is money that needs to be refunded, please be assured that you will receive your refund. Please note that only the alumni has a $25.00, non-refundable deposit. This does not apply to their guest. We appreciate your patience and understanding, as we continue to plan the best reunion we can for each of you.
